配合「世界救護日」，內政部消防署規畫今年9月9日為救護日及9月3日至9日為救護周的宣導活動，花蓮縣消防局水璉分隊特地透過轄區部落豐年祭期間，宣導救護週重要活動，推動緊急救護工作。
自2000年起，世界衛生組織（World Health Organization）、紅十字會紅新月會國際聯合會（International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies）將每年9月第2個星期六定為「世界救護日」，每年擇一主題進行宣導，提高急救意識。
日本於1982年開始，每年9月9日及前後一周內辦理「救護日」與「救護醫療週」活動，推廣及教導民眾使用緊急救護資源的正確觀念與需配合的事項。藉此，內政部消防署規畫「106年9月9日為救護日」及「106年9月3日至9日為救護周」之宣導活動。
花蓮縣消防局水璉分隊也配合內政部消防署「106年救護日及救護周宣導活動」，透過轄區部落豐年祭期間宣導救護週重要宣導活動，推動緊急救護工作。
花蓮縣消防局長林文瑞表示，今年是第一次舉辦「救護日」活動，期透過本次全國消防機關同步辦理「救護日」系列活動，提升民眾學習心肺復甦術（CPR）及自動體外心臟去顫器（AED）等自主緊急救護能力，並教導民眾使用緊急救護資源的正確觀念。

籃網隊今年後場新組合令人驚艷，尤其是華裔球星林書豪已儼然成為球隊不可或缺角色，他跟「新同學」D'Angelo Russell之間的組合，讓主帥Kenny Atkinson稱讚，就像是美式足球中的跑鋒跟四分衛互動。
林書豪雖然去年因傷影響球季表現，但他的得分效率跟助攻等，還是有一定水準，去年他平均每場可以攻下14.5分、5.1次助攻、3.8次籃板，已是生涯新高，就看他今年要怎樣再度帶領籃網隊打出新氣象。
D'Angelo Russell的得分爆發力相當驚人，若林書豪能夠掌握他的啟動時間，或許可期待雙後衛的相輔相成，引發籃網有更多進攻手段。
林書豪也認為，當初拓荒者隊也是突然爆紅，成為聯盟強隊，籃網隊已經具備相當競爭力，看戰績能否由黑翻紅。
